Today you will take a walking tour through the Corcovado Nature Reserve, recognized as “the richest biological place” on the planet. There are no other places with the same land area where the biopopulation diversity would surpass Corcovado. The flora here numbers thousands of species, many of which live only in certain places and have already disappeared from other regions, for example: gray walnut (caryocar costaricense), brosimum alicastrum. The fauna of Corcovado is also stunning in its diversity of species. It is home to a significant population of macaws, red parrots, peccaries, pumas, jaguars and crocodiles. On this day you will take a boat excursion to Del Caño Island, an important archaeological and biological site in Costa Rica. If you are lucky, during your trip you will be able to see a humpback whale, dolphins and killer whales. The island is surrounded by five coral reef platforms. Volcanic rocks located underwater provide a home for coral colonies, which in turn attract numerous shellfish and countless fish. This place is considered one of the best snorkeling and diving spots in the country. Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to snorkel in the crystal clear waters of this island. Today after breakfast you return by boat to Sierpe. And then the flight from Sierpe to San Jose. Transfer to the international airport. (Meals: 3)
