Machu Picchu (in the Quechua language Machu Pikchu means “Old Mountain”) is a mysterious Inca city built in the mid-15th century. It is located about 100 km from the capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco, and is so secludedly hidden in the Andes that the Spanish colonialists could not reach it. Breakfast. Transfer to the port. Excursion to the Uros Floating Reed Islands - these are more than 40 man-made islands created by the Uros Indians from reeds. Tourists will learn the history of the islands and its people, will be able to buy souvenirs and ride on a reed ship. The excursion continues deep into Lake Titicaca to the island of Taquile, which is famous for its ethnic cultural values - the population of the island preserves ancient traditions, especially when it comes to weaving. Breakfast. At 7.00, transfer by bus to the Kolka Canyon - the deepest and most beautiful in the world. Along the way, visit Lake Lagunillas and the observation deck of the three Volcanoes.
