Breakfast in the hotel! On the second day of our exciting journey, we will go on a tour of Tbilisi. Climbing the cable car to the Narikala fortress, we will be able to enjoy a stunning view of the city, which will open before us like a mosaic of impressions. Walking through the picturesque Abanotubani district, we will feel the true atmosphere of ancient Tbilisi, and the waterfall in the Fig Gorge will make our hearts skip a beat with beauty. No less exciting will be the Meydani shopping area, where we can see iconic architectural monuments such as the Sioni Cathedral and the Anchiskhati Basilica. In the evening we return to the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel! Today our path leads to a heritage recognized by UNESCO - the ancient capital of Mtskheta and the Jvari monastery, the place where the first Christian cross was installed in the 4th century. Walking through the narrow medieval streets of Mtskheta, we will plunge into the atmosphere of antiquity and feel the spirit of majesty that reigns in this historical place. Our steps will lead us to the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, rising on the site where, according to legend, the tunic of Jesus Christ was kept. This shrine is not only a cultural heritage, but also a symbol of faith, which delights with its majesty and historical significance. Our route also includes a tasting of local wines in one of the cozy cellars to plunge into the world of Georgia’s rich wine industry. Here we can enjoy the unique taste of real Georgian wine. In the evening we return to the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel! We travel from Tbilisi to the south of Georgia, to a non-tourist, but historically significant region. Our journey will lead us to the high mountain lake Paravani, where Saint Nino from Cappadocia arrived in the 4th century and brought Christianity to Georgia at the behest of her heart. Now on this site there is a convent, where we will meet the novices and visit their shop, where they sell fresh cheeses, chocolate, jams and jewelry. Next we will travel to the era of Queen Tamara, who was known as the king of kings. We will visit the cave monastery city of Vardzia, which was a large medieval settlement. Although an earthquake in the 13th century destroyed many of the caves, the city has survived to this day, and now there is a functioning monastery on its territory. Finally, we will stop overnight in the city of Akhaltsikhe, at the Almi Hotel. In the evening we return to the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel! Let's continue our fascinating journey through medieval Georgia and go to the era of Ottoman occupation, when the region was under the control of Turkish invaders for 300 years. A tour of the Rabat Fortress will give us the opportunity to learn more about this period and appreciate the characteristic Ottoman architecture restored throughout the city. During our tour we will also visit the resort town of Borjomi and be sure to stop for a walk through the beautiful Borjomi Park, and also try the famous mineral water from the spring. In the afternoon we will reach the city of Kutaisi. Overnight will take place at the Ponte Hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel! Today we set off on a journey through the golden age of Georgia and get acquainted with a UNESCO World Heritage site - the Gelati monastery complex. Near the monastery complex there are amazing karst caves, where underground rivers have created bizarre tunnels with stalactites and stalagmites. Afterwards we will go to the north of the country, to the inaccessible mountains of the Svaneti region. In the capital of Svaneti, we will stay in cozy rooms at the Old Seti or Lileo hotels and continue to get acquainted with the unique sights of Georgia. In the evening we return to the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel! We invite you to spend the seventh and eighth days of our journey on your own. Svaneti has many opportunities for eco-tourism: hiking in the mountains and to glaciers, horseback riding, trips to the high-mountain village of Ushguli, as well as master classes in Svan cuisine.

In the morning we will organize a transfer for you from Svaneti to the beautiful city of Batumi, located on the Black Sea coast. Here you can enjoy relaxing on the beach, stroll in the parks, and dine in one of the many restaurants. At the end of your holiday at sea, we will organize a transfer for you to Batumi airport.
