Excursion to Yokohama with a Russian-speaking guide by public transport. Transfer to Kamakura (about 1.5 hours one way) The excursion combines the past and the future, and it began with a visit to the city of the birth of samuraiism and Buddhism as the religion of the samurai - Kamakura. We invite you to travel back eight centuries by visiting temples built at the end of the 12th century, walking along the streets, which have hardly changed since then, except that wires have appeared and cars sometimes drive along narrow roads, briefly disturbing the peace and quiet of these places. The ancient city of Kamakura, located on the ocean, is the first capital of Japan's military rulers (shoguns), a city of ancient temples, shrines, magnificent gardens, picturesque hills and coastlines. Visit to Hasedera Temple, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy Kannon, and Kotokuin Temple, where the symbol of Kamakura is located - an 11-meter bronze statue of the Great Buddha (Daibutsu), the second largest in Japan. Transfer to the modern city of Yokohama - the main seaport and second largest city in Japan. You will go up to the observation deck of the Landmark Tower (297 m) and see the “port of the future” located here - the Minato Mirai area. Walk along the embankment and Chinatown. Return to Tokyo (about 40m-1 hour).
