RateGuard rebookings + policy steering — rolling out Q3 2026

Two pipes, one search, full visibility on what each one returns.

We pull GDS content (Sabre, Amadeus) for breadth, and NDC content directly from carriers for fares and ancillaries the GDS doesn't expose. Travelers see one merged list. Procurement sees the source of every fare in audit logs.

PIPE 01 · GDS
500+

All major airlines via Sabre & Amadeus.

Star Alliance, Oneworld, SkyTeam, plus regional carriers and most LCCs. Loaded with your existing corporate codes, or ours if you don't have any yet.

PIPE 02 · NDC
26

Direct NDC for fares the GDS hides.

United, Lufthansa Group, Air France-KLM, BA, Iberia, American, Qantas, and others. Branded fares, paid seats, bag bundles, and continuous pricing — surfaced inline.

PIPE 03 · CORPORATE RATES
100%

Your negotiated agreements load on day one.

Existing chain programs (Marriott / Hilton GLN), airline corporate IDs, and consortia rates apply automatically — no rekeying. Travelers don't see a separate "corporate" tab; rates blend into the regular search.

Out-of-policy fares are tagged before booking, not after expense report.

Rules enforced at the moment of decision.

Cabin class caps by route, advance-purchase windows, preferred carrier lists, and fare-class restrictions all evaluate live during search. Travelers see exactly which fares fit, which need approval, and which are blocked.

  • Cabin caps by route — domestic Economy, transatlantic Premium Economy, transpacific Business — fully configurable.
  • Advance-purchase windows — 14 / 21-day rules with auto-flagging on shorter horizons.
  • Preferred carrier steering — ranks negotiated airlines higher; logs every override.
  • Approval routing — out-of-policy fares route to the right approver before ticketing, not after.

When the fare drops after you book, we rebook it.

Auto-rebook without canceling the ticket.

RateGuard monitors every ticketed itinerary against live fare inventory. When a same-cabin, same-routing fare drops below your purchased price, we rebook without canceling — savings split 20% / 50% to your company depending on plan.

  • Always in same cabin — never downgrades the traveler.
  • Same routing, same times — itinerary stays identical or improves.
  • Carrier-specific logic — handles change rules per fare basis automatically.
  • Audit log — every rebook captured with delta and authorization chain.

When flights cancel, the rebooking has already started.

Our irregular-ops monitor watches every ticketed itinerary against live carrier feeds. When a flight cancels, slips materially, or a connection becomes invalid, we run rebooking logic against same-cabin alternatives within your policy — and surface the choice to the traveler in seconds, not hours.

Step 01

Detect

Live IROPS feeds from carriers and FlightAware. Cancellations and material delays flagged within 90 seconds.

Step 02

Filter to policy

Alternative routings ranked by same cabin, your preferred carriers, and fare-class allowance.

Step 03

Notify traveler

SMS + app push with three options. One-tap accept rebooks instantly. Approval auto-included if cabin changes.

Step 04

Settle

EMD or refund chased automatically. Carrier change-fee waivers applied where eligible.

Common questions on flight booking.

Do you support NDC on every airline that offers it?

We support NDC where it's stable and richer than GDS. Currently 26 carriers — United, Lufthansa Group, Air France-KLM, BA, Iberia, American, Qantas, Singapore, and others. Where NDC content is incomplete or unstable, we fall back to GDS to avoid traveler-facing gaps. Carrier-by-carrier status is in our admin console.

Can we keep our airline corporate codes and consortia rates?

Yes. Existing corporate IDs (United PassPlus, Delta SkyBonus, AA Business Extra) and consortia agreements load during onboarding. Rates apply automatically and travelers see them as part of the standard search — not as a separate corporate tab.

What happens if a flight is canceled at 2am while my employee is at the gate?

Our IROPS monitor surfaces the cancellation and three rebook options to the traveler's phone within 90 seconds, regardless of time zone. One-tap accept rebooks instantly. If they prefer a human, the AI agent is on chat 24/7 and a phone agent is on call for premium plans.

How does RateGuard handle non-refundable fares?

RateGuard works on non-refundable fares too — we don't cancel and rebuy. We use carrier-specific change-without-cancel mechanics where available, and skip rebooking if change costs would exceed savings. Net savings only.

Do flight policies need to be set up by hand?

No. Our AI Policy Builder reads your existing policy — written, in Slack threads, or in approval emails — and proposes a structured ruleset. You review and approve in a UI. Manual configuration is supported but rarely needed.
